- Select a view from the menu: Day, 3-Day, Week, or Agenda
- Below the view options, select a density: Compact or Comfortable
You can also use keyboard shortcuts to switch views instantly:

| 4 | Agenda |
On Mobile
- Tap the view selector pill in the top-left corner of the toolbar (it shows the current view name with a down arrow)

View Modes
Day View
The Day view shows a single day with one vertical column per staff member. This is the default view.
- Each column has a header showing the staff member's initials and first name with a colour-coded circle
- The time grid runs from 6 AM to 10 PM with 15-minute intervals
- Working hours appear as the normal background; unavailable 15-minute periods use a light muted fill
- Elapsed time in multi-day views uses a stronger muted fill, distinct from unavailable time
- Full days off use the strongest muted fill and show an Off label
- Click or tap an empty slot to create a booking for that staff member and time
- Drag an active booking block up or down to reschedule it in Day view (web, phone, and iPad)
Day view works best when you need to see every staff member's full day side-by-side.
3-Day View
The 3-Day view shows three consecutive days arranged horizontally, with bookings for all staff stacked within each day column.
- Available on web and iPad only (not available on phones)
- Use the staff filter dropdown ("All Team") to show bookings for a specific team member across the three days
- Click a day column header to jump to the Day view for that date
- On desktop web, drag active bookings between visible times or days; the destination outline shows the exact snapped start, end, and footprint before release
- On desktop web, resize eligible bookings from the bottom handle or use Adjust duration from the booking menu
- The filter bar is hidden in this view on mobile to save screen space
3-Day view works best when you need to see upcoming availability across a few days without committing to a full week.
Week View
The Week view shows Monday to Sunday together in a time grid.
- Available on desktop web and for solo venues on native mobile and responsive mobile web
- All seven columns fit the screen on a solo mobile view, with vertical time scrolling and no horizontal calendar scrolling
- On responsive web, a mouse or trackpad can select bookings and drag them between visible weekdays even when browser zoom triggers the fitted layout
- Desktop drag feedback shows the exact duration-sized destination and any schedule warning before release
- Eligible desktop bookings can be resized from the bottom handle or through Adjust duration; compact touch Week remains an overview
- Use the staff filter to narrow to a specific team member
- Click a day column header to jump to the Day view for that date
Week view works best for planning the week ahead and spotting patterns in your schedule.
Month View
The Month view gives solo operators a compact six-row overview from Monday to Sunday.
- Available to solo venues on native mobile and responsive mobile web
- Each date shows up to two schedule summaries and a +N count when more items exist
- Leading and trailing dates from neighbouring months remain selectable
- Select any date to open Day view; use browser Back or Back to month in the native app to restore the original Month
Month view works best for scanning workload and choosing a date. Use Day view to manage bookings or create schedule items.
Agenda View
The Agenda view shows bookings as a chronological list grouped by time, rather than a visual time grid.
- Available on all platforms (web, phone, and iPad)
- On mobile, the agenda shows 3 days; on web, it shows 7 days
- Each booking row shows a status dot, time, customer name, service, and staff badge
- Past bookings appear faded (reduced opacity)
- Filter by staff, status, or resource using the filter controls above the list
The Agenda view supports additional filters not available in other views:
| Filter | Options |
|---|---|
| Staff | All staff, or a specific team member |
| Status | All statuses, Pending, Confirmed, Arrived, Completed, Cancelled, No show, Blocked |
| Resource | All resources, No resource, or a specific resource (if your venue uses resources) |
Agenda view works best for quickly scanning upcoming bookings when you do not need to see the visual time grid.
Layout Density
Within the Day view, you can switch between two layout densities that control how tall each time slot is and how much detail appears on booking blocks.
| Density | Slot Height | Booking Block Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Comfortable (default) | Taller (30px per 15 minutes) | Full customer name, service itinerary (up to 3 services), time badge |
| Compact | Shorter (18px per 15 minutes) | Customer name and time only, abbreviated layout |
Changing Density
On web: Open the view dropdown in the toolbar. Below the view options, select Compact or Comfortable.
On iPad: Tap the density toggle icons in the toolbar, the rows icon with more lines is Compact, the icon with fewer lines is Comfortable. The selected option is highlighted.
On phone: Density controls are not available. The calendar uses a responsive layout based on screen size.
The density preference is saved per venue and persists across devices and sessions.

| Month | Yes | Yes | No | No |

Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| I cannot see Week or Month on mobile | Week and Month on mobile are available only to solo venues. Team venues retain their existing Day, Agenda, and iPad 3-Day views. |
| My density preference is not saving | The density setting is stored per venue on the server. Ensure you are signed in and have a stable internet connection when changing the setting. |
| Staff columns are too narrow to read booking details | Switch to Comfortable density for wider time slots and more detail on each booking block. If you have many staff, try filtering to a specific team member using the staff selector. |
| Agenda view shows different number of days on phone vs desktop | The Agenda view shows 3 days on mobile and 7 days on desktop. This is by design to fit the available screen space. |
