Return timing belongs to the client
A lash fill, lift, tint or brow appointment can each follow a different rhythm. Rebook the next visit or create a recurring series only when the client and studio have agreed on a predictable pattern.

Run lash fills, lifts, tints and brow appointments with artist schedules, client history, photos, forms, patch-test records, deposits and rebooking connected to the same client. Give each artist a direct booking route while keeping the studio's booking experience under its own brand.

The working rhythm
Lash and brow studios do not need a generic list of features. They need the next appointment, the studio's recorded context and the client's chosen artist to stay connected through the same workflow.
A lash fill, lift, tint or brow appointment can each follow a different rhythm. Rebook the next visit or create a recurring series only when the client and studio have agreed on a predictable pattern.
Each artist can have their own availability, assigned services, public profile and booking route while the studio keeps one branded destination.
Keep previous visits, notes, private photos, forms and the patch-test record the studio has saved close to the booking. The artist still decides what service is appropriate.
The return visit
Rebook a regular before they leave, or create a recurring series when their schedule is predictable. Reminders protect a booking that already exists. Reconnect is a separate option for appropriate inactive clients with no future booking.
Rebooking creates the appointment. Reminders help protect what is already in the diary.

After checkout
1. Today
Create the next appointment while the completed service and artist are still current.
2. Next
An operator can create a recurring series when the client and studio have agreed on the timing.
3. Before
Configured reminders help protect an appointment that is already in the diary.
4. Later
Reconnect is a separate, configurable follow-up for an appropriate inactive client with no future booking.
Client context
A regular may usually see one artist, then book another when that artist is unavailable. Before the appointment, an authorised artist can review the studio's visit history, notes, private photos and supported forms rather than asking the client to reconstruct every previous visit.
Keep visit history, client notes, future bookings, supported forms and private per-visit photos together. OpenChair does not tell the artist which service to perform.
OpenChair can keep the recorded test date, result, expiry and performing staff member with the client. The studio reviews that record and decides what action is appropriate.

Amara
Lash artist
The booking stays inside the studio storefront.
The artist route
Each eligible artist gets a direct URL to share in an Instagram bio, client message, personal profile or promotion. A downloadable QR code can sit at the station or on printed material. The link opens that artist's profile, assigned services and availability, while the booking stays inside the studio's storefront.
Show supported profile information, specialties, assigned services and a Latest work showcase where configured.
Private client photo history is not the public portfolio. Publishing client imagery follows the separate portfolio consent workflow.
Direct booking
A client might find an artist on Instagram, find the studio on Google or arrive through a referral. A studio link can open the full storefront, while an artist-specific route keeps the preferred artist and their live availability in context. Both routes keep the booking inside the studio, without requiring a client account.
Present the service menu, team profiles, booking policies and studio branding. Pro supports a custom domain where configured.
Configure fixed or percentage deposits and eligible saved-card protection for selected services or the whole booking. For example, a studio can apply a different rule to a longer full set than to a shorter maintenance appointment. The studio sets the policy; protection does not eliminate no-shows.
Link an optional or required removal, add-on or additional service without hard-coding lash or brow rules into the product. The studio chooses what the client sees.
OpenChair charges zero booking commission on bookings made through an OpenChair storefront. Card-processing fees still apply.
Social enquiries
Where configured, the OpenChair Inbox supports connected Instagram DMs. On Pro, Smart Replies can Auto-send eligible, high-confidence replies for supported intents under the owner's settings. Low-confidence or safety-triggered messages can move to Draft or escalation. Safe private client context is available only for a confirmed linked identity; other senders use public venue context.

Checkout and team
Keep the completed services, checkout and staff attribution on the same visit. Commission tracking can then report eligible paid service and product lines for review without becoming payroll.
Review services, products and an eligible deposit before taking the remaining payment through a supported method. The completed order stays connected to the appointment and its staff attribution.
Give each artist their availability, assigned services, profile, booking link and appropriate system access. Owners and managers keep wider venue visibility.
Attribute paid service and product line items using venue defaults and supported artist overrides. Commission tracking is not payroll, contractor payout or wage calculation.
Keep the working appointment close to the artist
From a supported phone or tablet, an authorised artist can check the calendar, open the client, use supported booking actions such as rescheduling or editing relevant details, and finish the visit without leaving the working flow.

Common questions
Yes. A client can choose an eligible artist through the studio storefront or open that artist's direct route. The artist's assigned services and live availability stay in context, and the booking remains inside the studio's OpenChair setup.
Yes. Each eligible artist can have a public profile, direct booking URL and downloadable QR code. They can share the URL in an Instagram bio, client message, personal profile or promotion, and use the QR code at their station or on printed material.
Yes. After checkout, the team can offer another appointment while the completed service and artist are still current. Rebooking creates the next appointment. It is separate from reminders, which help protect an appointment already in the diary.
An operator can create a recurring appointment series when the client and studio have agreed on a genuinely predictable pattern. OpenChair does not choose the return interval or create a series without the operator setting it up.
Rebooking creates an appointment. Configured reminders are then sent for appointments already booked, helping the client prepare for what is in the diary. They do not create the next visit.
Reconnect is a separate, configurable follow-up path for appropriate inactive clients who have no future booking. The studio controls its inactivity window, message and channel. It is not a promise that every client will return.
Yes, subject to their role and assigned-client access. Before the appointment, an authorised artist can review the studio's visit history, notes, private per-visit photos and supported forms. Public portfolio images are separate and use their own consent workflow.
OpenChair can keep the recorded test date, result, expiry and performing staff member with the client. The booking workflow can warn when a configured service requires a valid record and one is missing or expired. The studio reviews the record and decides what action is appropriate; OpenChair does not decide whether a service is safe to perform.
Yes, if the studio configures selected-service rules that way. For example, a longer full set can use a different fixed or percentage deposit rule from a shorter maintenance appointment. Rules can apply to selected services or the whole booking. They support the studio's policy but do not eliminate no-shows.
On Pro, a connected Instagram Business account can appear in the OpenChair Inbox. Eligible high-confidence replies can Auto-send for supported intents where the owner has configured that authority. Low-confidence or safety-triggered messages can move to Draft or escalation. Booking actions remain review-first, so OpenChair does not independently create an appointment from a DM. Private client context is used only for a confirmed linked identity.
Yes. The OpenChair mobile app supports working calendar and booking flows on supported iPhone, iPad and Android devices. An authorised artist can check the calendar, open the client record, use supported booking actions such as rescheduling or editing relevant details, finish the visit and use supported mobile checkout options.
Yes. In Australia, eligible iPhone and Android devices can use OpenChair's Tap to Pay flow after the venue completes Stripe Connect and the required device setup. Device eligibility and Stripe account readiness still apply.
