Mobile Booking Operation Panel is the adaptive action surface for booking detail work on mobile. It lets operators reschedule, edit services, edit party size, adjust end gap, suggest times, duplicate, message, or email without losing the selected booking context. On narrow layouts, the same actions still work as sheets.
What is the Mobile Booking Operation Panel?
Mobile Booking Operation Panel is a right-side operation panel that appears from the mobile booking detail screen or the iPad calendar inspector. It preserves the current booking while showing the selected action in a hosted panel.
The header uses the action label as the title and shows a context line formatted as the customer name, date, and start time. The back control has the accessibility label Back to booking details; the close control has Close booking operation.
When does the side panel appear?
The side panel appears only when the mobile layout can show a side panel. The layout hook requires a non-compact size class and at least 700 dp of screen width, so narrow Stage Manager, Split View, Slide Over, and phone layouts fall back to sheets.

The app closes the active operation when the selected booking changes. If an operation completes, the booking detail and calendar data are refreshed.
Supported operations
The operation panel hosts the same native mobile action sheets that already exist for booking detail actions. The shared action registry provides the visible labels.

Communication actions
Communication actions depend on the booking's contact details and the venue's messaging setup. If the booking has a phone number and the venue has a dedicated phone number, SMS opens the OpenChair Message client operation. If the venue does not have a dedicated phone number, the booking detail button shows Device SMS and opens the device SMS app instead.
If the booking has an email address and no phone number, Email opens the OpenChair Email client operation. The quick email default subject is based on the booking date.
Operation navigation
Operation navigation keeps the booking detail context in place. Use Back to booking details to close the current operation and return to the booking detail panel. Use Close booking operation to dismiss the operation from the panel header.
On compact layouts, the fallback sheets use their own close controls. For example, Duplicate booking has Cancel and Duplicate, and End gap has Save end gap and Cancel.
