Yes. Eligible Pro, trial and grace-period venue users can open the client’s appointment to record a structured formula, manual quantities, separate bowls, top-ups and results. The saved record stays in the client’s colour history.
No. Manual entry is available alongside connected measurement. Connected measurement requires a compatible native app build and specifically supported hardware; Bluetooth alone does not establish compatibility. Receiving a reading does not by itself save the whole recipe, post stock or charge the client.
No. Reuse copies the previous recorded amounts as new targets. The colourist reviews and adjusts those targets. Leftover measurements do not automatically change the next recipe.
No. Saving a colour record does not add a customer charge. The recorded ingredient cost is separate from the price of the service.
Mixing records use the products set up in your OpenChair catalogue. You add and maintain the products you use, including the pack measurements and costs needed for cost calculations. Follow each manufacturer’s mixing and application instructions.
Historical formula and measurement migration needs to be assessed against an available export. Confirm supported fields and the outcome before switching; a service-menu import request or an agreed client-data transfer does not establish colour-history migration.
Colour mixing works within OpenChair’s appointment and client records. If you want to keep another booking platform, discuss that requirement before switching. This page does not offer a standalone weighing app or a connection to another booking system.
