My Hours (Staff Time-Clock Self-Service)
View your own worked hours and, when enabled, enter hours before or after a shift for manager approval on web and mobile.
Last updated 7 August 2026
My Hours is your personal record of worked hours. Depending on the venue setting, you can clock in and out, enter hours yourself, or use either method. Staff-entered hours require manager approval before they count toward approved totals or payroll export.
Where to find it - Web: Sidebar → Manage → Team → My Hours. Mobile: More → My Hours. The workflow is native on phone and tablet.
TL;DR
- Personal view of your own recorded hours.
- Add hours for the current week or either of the previous two weeks when Enter hours is enabled.
- Future hours in the current week stay Planned and submit automatically after the finish time.
- Edit or withdraw Planned and Awaiting approval entries; approved entries use Request Correction.
- Four periods: This week, Last week, This fortnight, Last fortnight.
- Per-shift detail with clock-in / clock-out / breaks / net hours / notes.
- Approved totals are separate from hours Awaiting approval.
- All plans; venues choose Enter hours, Clock in/out, Both, or Off.
Entering your hours
- Open My Hours and select Add hours.
- Choose the work date, start and finish times, unpaid break, and an optional note.
- If rostered hours are available, select Use rostered hours to use them as an editable starting point. This does not change the roster.
- For a completed shift, select Save hours. For a shift finishing later this week, select Save planned hours. If review is required, the saved hours remain awaiting approval until an owner or manager reviews them.
Completed entries show Awaiting approval until an owner or manager approves them. Future entries show Planned and submit automatically shortly after the entered finish time. If you clock in for the same period, the actual clock entry replaces the overlapping planned entry.
You can enter any day in the current Monday-to-Sunday week and either of the two preceding weeks. Future dates outside the current week are not available.
What you see
The main view shows:
| Element | What it does |
|---|---|
| Period selector | This week / Last week / This fortnight / Last fortnight (week starts Monday in venue timezone) |
| Per-shift cards | Date, clock-in → clock-out time, break minutes, net hours |
| Status badges | In progress, Planned, Awaiting approval, Approved, Recorded, or Voided |
| Total footer | Approved total, with Awaiting approval hours disclosed separately |
| Live "Updated Xm ago" | Auto-refreshes every 60 seconds |
Net hours = (clock-out − clock-in) − break minutes.
Period selector
Four periods to switch between, week starts Monday in your venue's timezone:
| Period | Window |
|---|---|
| This week | Monday this week → today |
| Last week | Monday last week → Sunday last week |
| This fortnight | This week + last week |
| Last fortnight | The fortnight before this fortnight |
Use arrow keys (← / →) to cycle on web. Tap to switch on mobile.
Shift detail sheet
Tap any shift card to open the detail sheet:
- Full clock-in time
- Full clock-out time (or "in progress" if still on shift)
- Break minutes
- Net hours computed
- Notes (if any)
- Status (active / completed / void)
- Entered hours badge when the shift was entered instead of clocked
- "Managed by {name}" attribution when an Owner or Manager created the shift
Request Correction
For an approved or clock-recorded non-void shift, tap Request Correction. Planned and awaiting-approval entries have Edit hours and Withdraw hours actions instead. The correction button copies a pre-filled message to your clipboard:
"Hey, can you correct my shift on {date}? Clocked in: {time}, clocked out: {time}, break: {minutes} min. Correction needed: …"
Paste it into a message to your manager via SMS, email, your venue's inbox, or whatever channel you use. The correction itself is then made by the manager or owner via the standard time-clock edit flow.
There's no automated workflow - the human handoff is explicit. Designed to keep the audit trail clean (corrections go through the same edit path with manager attribution).
My Hours vs Timesheet
Two different surfaces for two different audiences:
| Feature | My Hours | Timesheet (operator surface) |
|---|---|---|
| Who sees what | Your own shifts | All team members' shifts |
| Edit | Own planned/pending entries | Owner/Manager can edit or void |
| Where | Manage → Team → My Hours | Manage → Team → Timesheet |
| Roles | Anyone with a clock-in record | Owner / Manager only |
See Timeclock (Clock In / Clock Out) for the operator-side Timesheet.
Completed hours entered by a stylist are sent to an owner or manager for approval. Owners and managers do not approve their own entered hours; those hours are recorded directly, while future entries remain planned until their finish time.

Mobile parity
Mobile My Hours has full parity with web: period picker, entered-hours form, shift cards, approval states, detail sheet, and correction action. It is in the Timeclock section of More and remains available on native tablets.
Tier
All plans. Requires the venue to enable Enter hours, Clock in/out, or Both in hours-recording settings.
Role access
| Action | Owner | Manager | Stylist |
|---|---|---|---|
| See own hours | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Add own hours | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Edit own planned/pending hours | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Edit others' shifts | Yes (Timesheet page) | Yes (Timesheet page) | No |
Everyone with an active team profile can see their own hours regardless of role. Staff-entered planned or awaiting-approval hours can be edited or withdrawn in My Hours; approved entries go through a manager correction.
What's NOT here
- Pay rates - your hourly rate isn't shown on My Hours. Ask your manager or owner.
- Earnings per shift - same.
- Past pay periods - only four standard periods (this/last week, this/last fortnight). For older periods, ask your manager to export the timesheet.
- Approving your own corrections - corrections always go through manager edit.
Common mistakes
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| My Hours doesn't appear in the sidebar | Ask an owner or manager to enable Enter hours, Clock in/out, or Both for the venue. |
| A shift is missing | If Enter hours is enabled, select Add hours and enter the actual shift. Otherwise, ask your manager to add it from Timesheet. |
| Net hours look wrong | Confirm break minutes are captured. If you took an unrecorded break, net hours will be too high. Request correction. |
| Shift is showing "in progress" but I clocked out | Race condition rare; refresh the page. If it persists, you're not actually clocked out - go to the time-clock and tap Clock Out. |
| Period totals don't match what I expected | Check the week boundary - weeks start Monday in your venue's timezone, not yours if you're in another timezone. |
FAQ
What's My Hours?
A personal view of clocked and entered shifts, including breaks, approval states, and approved/pending totals. Staff can add hours and edit or withdraw their own planned or awaiting-approval entries.
Can I correct a shift that's wrong?
Use the Request Correction button on the shift. It copies a pre-filled message to your clipboard with the shift details, ready to paste into a message to your manager via SMS, email, or chat. The correction itself is made by an owner or manager.
Who can see My Hours?
Anyone with a time-clock record - staff, manager, or owner. Each person sees only their own hours. Managers and owners have the separate Timesheet page (under Manage → Team) to see the whole team.
Where do I find My Hours?
Web: sidebar → Manage → Team → My Hours. Mobile: Timeclock section in More. The link appears when the venue records hours by entry, clocking, or both.
Can I see my upcoming shifts here?
Planned hours entered for a shift later in the current week appear in My Hours as Planned. The roster remains the source for the full upcoming schedule; see Staff Schedules.
Does My Hours export to payroll?
Not directly. The operator-side Timesheet has an export option that includes everyone's hours for payroll. Ask your manager.
