TL;DR
- Manage service collections from Services on web or from the native tablet catalogue workspace.
- A collection needs at least two active, non-add-on services.
- Clients pick the collection first, then choose the exact service in booking.
- Use Show on storefront to publish or hide a collection.
- Use Hide individual services from storefront when the collection should replace the separate option cards online.
Service collections are customer-facing groups for related services. A common example is Haircut, with options such as Short haircut, Long haircut, and Restyle.
The internal system calls these service families, but the product UI calls them Collections.
Who can manage collections?
Venue Owners and Managers can create, edit, reorder, or archive collections. Other staff can view catalogue details but cannot change them.
Collections are available on all plans.
Create a collection
On web:
- Open Services.
- Select Add, then Collection.
- Enter a Name.
- Add an optional Description.
- Choose a Category.
- Select at least two services.
- Choose whether to show the collection online.
- Select Save collection.
On a tablet in the mobile app:
- Open Services.
- Select Add.
- Select Collection.
- Enter the collection details and choose at least two eligible services.
- Select Save collection.
Phone layouts do not expose collections. Use web or the native tablet workspace to view and manage them.
The option picker only accepts active services from the same venue. Add-ons cannot be used as collection options.
Visibility controls
| Control | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| Show on storefront | Makes the collection available on the public service menu. |
| Hide individual services from storefront | Keeps the option services bookable through the collection while hiding their separate storefront cards. |
| Archive collection | Removes the collection from the storefront. The underlying services remain available according to their own settings. |
| Restore collection | Returns it hidden at the end of Current so you can review its options before publishing. |
Hidden collections stay saved but do not appear to customers.
Rules and limits
| Rule | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| Minimum options | A collection needs at least two services. |
| Service status | Every option must be active, non-archived, and in the same venue. |
| Add-ons | Add-ons are not valid collection options. Use service combos when a package should include add-ons. |
| Duplicate placement | One option service can belong to only one active collection. |
| Category | The collection appears in the regular service menu category you choose. |
Booking behaviour
On the storefront, a visible collection appears as one card with option pricing and duration ranges. The booking flow then asks the client to choose the exact service option.
Quick Book links can also open a specific collection when the link includes a valid collection reference.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Save collection is disabled | Add a name and select at least two services. |
| A service is missing from the option list | Check that the service is active, not archived, and not an add-on. |
| A service cannot be added | It may already belong to another active collection. Remove it there first. |
| The collection is not on the storefront | Turn on Show on storefront and confirm at least two option services are still active. |
| Separate service cards still show | Turn on Hide individual services from storefront inside the collection. |
FAQ

Can one service be in multiple collections?
No. A service can belong to only one active collection at a time.
